John Hollier is a songwriter from Louisiana. Blending the sounds of the heartland with retro guitar and harmonies, you can hear a refreshing take on the Americana genre that has taken the Indie scene by storm. Since moving to Nashville, John has backed up recording artists Cassadee Pope, Carly Pearce, William Michael Morgan, Levi Hummon, Logan Brill, Scott Mulvahill and many more. The touring experience and lifestyle became the catalyst for John’s songs. “We were going to so many places and meeting so many people.” said Hollier. “I found myself trying to figure out how to explain the highs and lows, the camaraderie and monotony. Songwriting became that vessel for me.”
2018 became the year that John started performing solo in small clubs and bars throughout Tennessee and Alabama. After crafting a set, he took his show on the road opening for Indie/folk artist, Marie Miller, on the Midwest leg of her summer Boardwalk tour. John has since teamed up with producer Ross Woodruff for his debut release in October ’18.
